Our fundraiser for the Chernobyl Children's Project International was a big success! We raised three thousand dollars for this great cause and had a lot of fun doing it. The demonstration was definitely one of the best we have put on, and we are very proud of everyone's hard work and great performances. We have several fun events planned for the summer including an animal day, a Jr. Black Belt night, and some fun trips, so be sure to keep posted. Great job again in the demo everyone, we'll see you in class!

Both our new and veteran students have been practicing hard and making steady improvements to their technique. What better way to bring everyone together than a demonstration! The date hasn't been set yet, but we will be putting on a kung-fu show for charity in the Billerica Marshall Middle school auditorium in a couple of months. Train hard and show your friends and family the fruits of your labor!!

We have been having a pretty good turnout for the
weapons seminars taking place every Saturday this month.
Those students beginning with the staff should take some time
to practice at home as much as possible. A weapons form
can't be done properly unless the weapon feels and looks like
an extension of your body as you move. Convince yourself
that you are in control of the staff and not that it's leading
you around!
The online forum / message board should be up and
running within the next week or so. Sign up as soon as
you can to reserve your favorite nickname!

Last Saturday's movie night went really well.
We had a nice turn-out and it seemed like everyone had a
really good time! Our next big event at the Academy will
be the self-defense workshop
for adults only.
It's taking place next Wednesday night at 7:30PM. It's a
free demonstration and lecture that will serve as an
introduction to a 5-Hour workshop taking place within the
following four weeks. As always, call or email us at the
school for more information.

Congratulations to all of the advanced students
who passed the latest belt-test held last Saturday!!
Your hard work, discipline, and dedication to your art is
paying off. You'll be stronger after all of those
pushups too!!

Welcome to our new website!
It is our hope that this site will serve to keep the students,
parents, instructors, and members of our communities better
connected. The internet continues to grow rapidly, and
is being used in new and more convenient ways every day.
On this site we will be posting birthdays, special events and
notices, and general information about heath, nutrition,
Kung-Fu, and our school.
Keep checking back for
updates, because new images, articles and text will be added
frequently. The next few months will be busy at our
Academy as we are planning movie nights, animal days, weapons workshops,
and street self-defense for adults.
After polling the younger students, we decided
to show the movie "The Incredibles" for movie night Saturday
April 2nd. It is rated PG and runs for about 115
minutes. Click on the "movie night" link below for more
information.
